  • Celebrating the 10th anniversary of Delhi Public School Bangalore East, Imbroglio Productions trained a cast and crew of 100+ students to perform a licensed musical extravaganza.
  • The show ran for 8 successful runs for an audience of over 7200 people at The Good Shepherd Auditorium, Bangalore.
  • With beautiful sets, mesmerizing costumes, foot-tapping dance numbers and a superb choir, the show was a grand spectacle!
  • The highlight of the show was Rapunzel’s 12 feet tower and 16 feet long hair that the Prince climbed to rescue the ‘Fair Rapunzel’!

It’s a tale of intrigue and mystery, filled with every beloved character in a fairy tale and more! On the edge of glory, the evil Lady Zaza is determined to rule the kingdom by keeping a famous princess - with long, long hair - trapped in a tower forever. It's all up to a handsome prince and his loyal companion (who happens to be the finest hair stylist in all the land) to save the day. Hold on to your hair and prepare for the magical musical re-telling of this extraordinary, hairy fairy tale! The story is proof that with a little bit of courage (and a great hairdresser), anyone can stand up for justice.


Magical Musical Experiences

  1. Shreya Venkataraman, Singer

    It is such an honor to be part of something as great as this musical and getting trained by the Imbroglio Productions team is something I can boast about for many, many years to come. The very thought of the costumes, the stage, the lights, all the people and all the applause makes me so happy! The best part is, not only are we doing this for our school, but we’re also doing it in aid of charity, and I believe there is no happiness greater than charity. I have benefitted so much from the work we’ve done, and as a part of the choir, I’ve learnt so many different techniques to improve my vocal skills. I believe that not only will this training serve the purpose of the Musical, but it will also help me in my future musical/theatrical endeavors. I am immensely grateful for this wonderful opportunity that the school has given us, and I cannot put into words my gratitude towards the Imbroglio Productions team for having given us an incredible platform to showcase our talent.

    Three months ago, I had auditioned for singing in the choir for our school musical and it was by far one of the best decisions I have ever taken. Participating in this musical has been a wonderful experience. Everything about it has been fun, from the modern script to the mentors. Our choir teacher – Joanne, is in one word “amazing”. This musical has given me the opportunity to learn a lot about music and theatre, and not to forget, the new friends I have made. During practice, everyone is treated equally and each role is considered just as important. Not once have I ever felt bored during practice, as it has always been exciting, entertaining and fun!

    Taking part in this musical has been one of the most fascinating experiences of my school life. I’ve learned so much along the way that I’m able to apply in other aspects of my life. The theatrical training before each practice session has transformed me as an actor, as well as a human being. I speak for all of us when I say that we have grown to become better performers through this process, learning to adapt to situations and getting along as a team.

    I have not been a part of anything as big as this musical before and the whole journey has been very exciting. It was amazing to see lines, movements, song and dances come together as one big show. Our Director has been extremely supportive and encouraging all through the way. After having experienced the hard work of the last three months I can safely say that I have grown as an actor and more importantly as a person.
